Work has commenced on the new £65,000 skate board park on Jesus Green. The design has been reached following extenisve consultation with users of the existing skate board park and local resident groups. The project is being funded by developer contributions.

Cllr Rod Cantrill, Executive Councillor for Arts, Sport and Public Places commented “the project is a great illustration of the City Council’s committed to providing facilities for the young people of the city”.
